At Como Physie, we offer age-appropriate classes designed to build strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence through the art of Physical Culture. Whether you're 2 years old or 70+, there's a place for you in our supportive community. No prior dance or physie experience needed - just bring your energy and enthusiasm!
Our Petites program is the perfect introduction to Physie for our youngest dancers. Through simple, playful routines set to fun music, little ones develop:
Rhythm and musical awareness - Moving in time with music
Basic coordination - Learning to control their bodies
Social skills - Interacting with peers in a group setting
Love of movement - Building positive associations with physical activity
Classes are delivered in a relaxed, nurturing environment where the focus is on fun and building confidence. Activities are short and engaging with plenty of movement and play. Our Petites also have the opportunity to participate in optional showcase displays during the year!
Our Junior classes are where young dancers truly flourish! Through age-appropriate choreography that blends various dance styles, Juniors develop:
Physical strength and flexibility - Building strong, capable bodies
Coordination and control - Mastering increasingly complex movements
Confidence and self-esteem - Performing in front of others
Teamwork and friendship - Learning alongside supportive peers

Each year brings new syllabus work with fresh choreography that challenges and excites. Juniors have optional opportunities to perform at individual and team competitions throughout the year.
Our Teen classes offer challenging choreography that takes dance and fitness to the next level. Teens work through:
Advanced technique - Refining skills and building precision
Strength and conditioning - High-energy cardio warm-ups and core work
Contemporary and jazz styles - Diverse movement vocabulary
Performance quality - Developing artistry and stage presence

No previous dance experience required. Our Ladies range from complete beginners to those who've done Physie for decades - everyone is welcome and supported at their own level.
Optional competition opportunities available for those who wish to perform, but absolutely no pressure - many Ladies simply enjoy the weekly classes.
